| I would support merit pay except I would want to know what the tests would be to earn the pay and who decides the merit system. If the State supports choice in private schools, the public system will be left with the dregs. The voucher system promotes elitism. Illegal immigrants trying to better themselves and become citizens deserve a break. They contribute to our economy whether or not we like it, they deserve in-state tuition. | |||

| I am an environmentalist. This is the only world we have to live on and we had better take care of it. There is no place else to go. Many people dislike government rules on what they can do with their land. Sorry, but a great many people ignore the impact of their actions and need to be regulated. It would be great if government agencies put money into their orders. Pay a farmer to filter the water running into streams instead of just requiring it. | |||

| I think the best way to control illegal use of guns is fingerprint technology on the firearm. Then only the owner can use it. Concealed carry is generally a joke. | The insurance industry is out of control. I know, I used to sell insurance. In addition the whole concept of insurance is the larger group supports those who use it the most. That is reality. Therefore, everyone should be part of the larger group. | |||
